Our August Life App is "Creativity".
A life app is something that God wants to do IN you to change the world AROUND you. And creativity is imagining what you can do because you are made in God's image.
There are so many things we can do to help others, including treating others with kindness and compassion. This month, let's keep our focus on being creative and sharing God's love in creative and amazing ways!

We’re having fun this month as we discover how God made us to be creative.
When you’re a kid, there’s one question people always ask you, and that is "What do you want to BE when you grow up?"
It’s funny how adults ask kids that question all the time . . . because the truth is, NONE of us knows exactly what God plans for us in the future. We tend to forget that God can use us in big ways, no matter WHAT we grow up to be!
Esther’s story is a great example of how God can work through us in unexpected ways. We can find Esther’s story in the Old Testament. Esther lived about 400 years before Jesus was born.

God gave Esther a surprising position in a faraway nation. When the time was right, she used all she was given to make a BIG difference. She used her creativity to save her people!
God gave you special gifts, too. He has a plan for your life that you’ll be able to discover more and more as you get older. You might wonder exactly what your purpose is. Sometimes it’s something big and exciting that God does through you over lots and lots of years. Or sometimes, it’s just the day-to-day things, as you choose to use the gifts that God has given you. A lot of times it’s both!
Pay attention to the gifts God gave you—and when you get a chance to use them, DO it! Maybe, you have the skills and ideas to help solve a problem that you see.
There are so many ways you can live out God’s purpose for your life. We’ll dig a little deeper into what that might look like in our activity today.
