Open/download/print the PARENT GUIDE.
Gather your family together where you can watch the Bible video and you have room to do the activities.

Our January Life App is "Responsibility: showing you can be trusted with what is expected of you".
A life app is something that God wants to do IN you to change the world AROUND you. And by keeping our focus on Jesus this month, we will begin to realize how that can help us bring hope, peace, joy, and love to ourselves and others!

Responsibility is showing you can be trusted with what is expected of you.
All month long we’ll find out how we can follow some simple Rules for Life, and live every day in a responsible way. When we follow Jesus, we have a responsibility to live in a way that honors God and shares God's love with others.
Today's Bible story is a really important Rule for Life written by a man named Solomon—KING Solomon. If we want to live in a responsible way, Solomon told us a great way to do it!
Let's take a look at why it's important to share what we have.

Just like the ant, we can choose to work hard and do our best.
That’s a great way to be responsible!
We should work hard to keep our rooms clean and help around the house. We can work hard at listening to our teachers, doing our best on our assignments, and obeying the rules of the classroom.
We can work hard at being a good friend, helping others, and showing God’s love every day.
God has given us everything we need to be responsible. We can do that by working hard.
That’s what we need to remember today. It’s a great Rule for Life.
Now, let's do a KidsConnect activity to connect with today's Bible message.
