JULY 26 -- BIBLE STORY SUMMARY
We finish the month and this series in Revelation 21:3-5a with something John wrote towards the end of his life. John’s been exiled to live out his life alone on a remote island for prisoners. While he’s there, he has a vision of a future that’s more wonderful than we could ever fully understand. But we do know that God is making all things new. And because of Jesus, we get to experience life forever with God.
That's why our Bottom Line this week is: Following Jesus will turn out greater than you can imagine.
Because of their developmental stage, it’s hard for kids to imagine life that lasts forever. Our prayer is that through this lesson, they’ll catch a glimpse of what life can be like when we follow Jesus. Not only is God with us now, but we’ll be with God forever. We may not understand it all, but we can have faith that it will be absolutely amazing!

"AN OPEN LETTER TO THE FUTURE THERAPIST OF MY CHILDREN By Jon Acuff Dear therapist who may one day be counseling my children, There are two things I need to say right out of the gate: 1. I tried my best. 2. I hope you have a sound machine. The second point is more of a personal preference rather than a revelation. Having gone to counseling myself, I appreciate when a therapist has some sort of sound machine that makes you feel like you’re at the beach. Gentle electronic waves lapping against the shore tend to help you forget you’re actually in a strip mall off the highway. The second point is easy to address, the first point is a little more detailed . . . CONTINUE READING ON THE PARENT CUE BLOG Copyright © 2020 The reThink Group, Inc. Outside Time:
While outside, have your child look and talk about the things you see here on Earth and how amazing God's creations are here on earth and mention that they will be even more amazing in heaven.
